    Braves Overwhelm Grads 5 – 1

On trade deadline day the Brockville Braves turned in perhaps their strongest performance of the year, dominating the Navan Grads while outshooting them 47 – 21.

In a textbook perfect scenario, the Braves best players were their best players, and it showed. Up and down the lineup the Braves managed to keep most of the play in the Grads end and held them to a measly 21 shots.

  • Braves @ Nepean – December 22, 2024

The Brockville Braves , regaining their early season form, closed out this portion of the season with their 4th consecutive win. That win was a cliff hanger, 5 – 4 win over Nepean Raiders.

Raiders jumped into an early first period lead, 2-0. Then the newly formed line of Dinis, McNally & Biniaris went to work. Ryan McNally picked up 3 assists to give him 13 points in 15 games. Vital Dinis scored a goal and registered 3 assists. giving him 5 points in the 4 games he has been with the Braves. The unsung hero was Zach Biniaris who notched a hattrick. This gave him 4 goals in the last two games.

The game winner, an innocent looking wrister fired from just inside the blueline, was the product of Alexandre Côté. Who by the way is the younger brother of ex Brave Christophe Côté.

The team will be enjoying a well deserved 12 day rest before facing the Lumber Kings in their first game back in the New Year.
